Exactly what was needed
I bought these for a kitchen renovation, they are a lovely colour and blend in great.

Solid design but not ideal everywhere
These fire-rated, disposable lights come with their own robust connector blocks. It is a winning formula for applications involving fresh plasterboard. You also need to check whether you like the light produced. The wire spring side flaps can potentially damage weak ceilings and can fail altogether if the spring wire pops out of its socket. I prefer alternative fastening mechanisms; e.g. vertical flat metal flaps. Unfortunately at present B&Q only carries wire sprung downlight models it seems.

Kitchen roof lights
Nice and easy to install only advise I would give if your painting the ceiling do it first as they are tricky to get back out

Excellent for bathroom and kitchen
I had those installed in my kitchen - they are simple, aesthetic and bright. For 9 square meters of kitchen four is plenty. I was specifically looking for warm white as I don't like cool lighting and these are perfect. The price is very reasonable, so a year later I bought more to install in the bathroom. The kitchen ones are now two years old and the bathroom one year. No issues as solid lights in high humidity areas. I have not tried them with a dimmer switch.

This product does not work.
I bought this product a few days ago, had it installed, and it is NOT dimmable as it flickers at low intensities. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed this and could not recommend a light switch that works with this product. Do not buy this product.
