Value for Money, But not the best
It's cheap, But it does the job and easy to use. It's not the best Jigsaw you'll ever buy, but it's the most affordable one you ever will. For small around the house projects, this is completely adequate.

Good quality excellent price.
This is a great power tool for an incredible price. Many features expected of a higher branded product. Powerful 600w motor but with a very good quality speed control to give required cutting speed. Highly recommended.

weak. too much vibration
Weak. Vibrations shake your arms off trying to cut a piece of wood. Ok for balsa wood, thats about it. Went back to my hand saw

Great value and easy starter for DIY
This is a great product for DIY and starter DIY. It would be great if it was cordless . The guide plate could be heavier and broader as there is a tendemcy for the balance to weigh towards the handle when using , causing the plate to lift. Great value though !

Good quality DiY product at a reasonable price
I recently bought the Mc Allister Corded Jigsaw from B&Q and it has been a great addition to my toolkit. The jigsaw feels sturdy, comfortable to hold, and easy to control, even for longer jobs. It cuts smoothly through wood and gives clean, accurate results with very little vibration. The corded power means consistent performance without worrying about battery life, which is ideal for DIY projects around the house. Blade changes were straightforward and the overall build quality feels quite good for the price. The only thing lacking is a LED guide light which would have been a great addition. Overall, this is a reliable and easy-to-use jigsaw that offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable tool for home DIY work.

Great price for a robust power tool.
I've used this jigsaw for cutting up pallets to make firewood and kindling for next winter's heating. It's easy to fit the blade, which is a blue one supplied with the saw and designed for cutting wood. There's another blade in the box for cutting metal but I rarely do that. My previous jigsaw with a famous brand name had plastic parts in the socket that holds the blade - they broke and made the saw useless. This new saw has a metal lock to grip the blade, so hopefully it will last longer. A great price for a robust power tool!
