HAS OUTLIVED 2 BOSCH GRINDERS.
I've had my Mac Allister grinder for 3 years now. I restore classic cars and motorbikes,so my grinders spend a lot of time with heavy cup wire brushes on them.which are very hard on the grinder bearings. My Mac Allister was initially bought as a back up, but it is so tough,it is now my primary grinder. It has out lived 2 Bosch grinders, and is srill going strong. ! If it packed up today,it would owe me nothing ! In fact, i'd try to fix it .So a big thumbs up from me.

Great value, good performance, acceptable quality.
I bought this grinder recently as I was fitting new control arms to my car, and one of them was seized in the joint. It performed well for the job of cutting through the old arm - about as you'd expect for a 750w 115mm grinder. While it does the job when it comes to cutting and grinding, the build quality is poorer in comparison to more expensive grinders, and the angle gearbox is very rough, loud, and unrefined. These are, however, justified by the low price, and in terms of value for money, it is a good product that will get the job done.
