Brilliant Power drill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one great bit of kit, very comfortable to hold not too heavy, comes with various accessories used for it's application. I would recommend this to anyone using this for personal and business as the product is durable. Comes with a very nice case to store everything in. Quite powerful.

Handy little tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used quite a few mcallister tools now and I’m always really happy with the overall quality of the product and the functionality, I needed a hammer drill to complete a few different projects around the home where I felt my cordless combo drill wasn’t really powerful enough, this was just the right tool for the job. It feels really powerful, which is something you don’t always get with cordless and all the settings I used worked brilliantly

Utter Junk

I bought this product to replace an old Black & Decker hammer dril that was bought in 1985, and which had become difficult to use because the chuck was stiff. The first time I drilled a hole using this product, there was an intense smell of burning electrics - OK, this could possibly be due to a bit of oil as it dissipated and did not recur BUT, when I removed the drill to change the bit, the sheared head of crosshead bolt that secures the chuck fell out. Taken back for a refund...

Dodgy Chuck

I owned one of these for approximately 5 hours, in that time I the Chuck released the drill bit several times when drilling into masonry causing untold plaster to fall off and a complete disaster of the the hole I tried to drill. This machine is the biggest piece of rubbish I have ever bought. I took it straight back the same day and exchanged it for a Bosch. Buy cheap pay the consequences. Don’t make the same mistake as me.
