Mac Alister Coordless strimmer with 5 amp battery
I purchased the Macalister cordless strimmer. It's brilliant, cuts and trims the garden, and has an edging wheel, there is a metal guard at the front to stop you from accidentally damaging your prized plants and garden decorations. I purchased this, because my SGS petrol strimmer stopped working after 18 months. No more worrying about will the strimmer start as with the petrol strimmer. Wish I had purchased the Macalister Coordless strimmer, 18 months ago.

Great Value for Money
This strimmer is lightweight and manouverable, the battery lasts longer than advertised and the price was fair. It is a more powerful machine than I was expecting, having been used to petrol Strimmers, but I was surprised at its cutting ability

Good strimmer but could do with a bigger line spoo
Bought this strimmer to go with the mower and hedge cutter I got from the mac allister range so I could keep the same equipment as they all have done a great job .this strimmer is light and easy to use does a great job my only concern is the line spool is small so doesn't hold a lot of line luckily I bought a spare spool so i don't run out mid way through a job

Long lasting battery
Bought recently to replace a previous MAC model where the battery had failed.Used extensively since bought and very pleased with how long the battery lasts when strimming ( abiout half an hour). Overall seems well made and also 2 year guarantee.
