Hedge trimmer back in use.
Needed a single-socket extension lead for my hedge trimmer as I only had 12" cable left after my partner had cut through it when doing me a favour whilst I was having a day off after a hospital procedure. Orange is easy to see in the garden, length means no other extension necessary, and 1 socket doesn't get in the way for handling the hedge trimmer on ladder etc. Best when fewest of 6 cats in garden.

Size is important, but so is knowing your limits.
Like a golfer who thinks they hit every club 10 yards further than they actually do, you end up unboxing a 15metre extension cable when deep down, you knew a 10 metre would have actually sufficed. Yet, the bright orange shows everyone that you're in equal parts about fun AND safety, and the extra slack says to your wife 'Look honey, maybe one day I'll buy you a house with a proper, extra large lawn. Like your colleague Geoff. Yes you've mentioned he's got a bigger house than ours. A few times.'

Fills the need.
Just what I wanted and at a reasonable price. High visibility orange is helpful. Good length for my jobs. Appears to be very durable. I'm satisfied.
