Mountfield Freedom does what is says...
Our very old corded lawnmower finally gave up the ghost and after looking around online found this Mountfield Freedom cordless lawn mower. Delivery was prompt and putting it together was easy. After the initial charge up of the batteries we were away. Am loving the no-cord, and the ease of altering the cutting height. Well worth the money. Really does give the Freedom in its name.

Best mower
Bought this mower as my old petrol model had become unreliable. A friend recommended this mower and I am really pleased with it. It is light, cuts very well and the batteries hardly need charging.

Cordless Freedom

Brilliant early birthday present for husband
Weeks of research led me to this, reliable reputation made me buy it. All the complaints on other machines have been countered. The 2 batteries charge well and outlast husband's efforts to mow entire sloping lawn. Weight about the same as our old electric mower but with age and arthritis limiting his mobility, husband gets the whole thing done in half the time with no hassle twirling cables. It cuts well and evenly and the height adjuster handle is smooth and easy, bliss compared to wrestling with wheels or slots. A small complaint is that on slopes it nibbles at edges and a big moan is the collapsing and resetting of the handle which he says needs two men and good eyes to correctly fix. His solution is to take it to garage with handle upright rather than store it collapsed in outside cupboard. This is a sturdy, efficient and reasonably priced battery mower and I am hugely relieved at how good it is after reading all the things that can go wrong with battery mowers. It also has a good warranty, go for it.

Love this lawnmower
I was a bit hesitant in buying a cordless mower. I've always had corded ones before now, but I was getting fed up with the cable always under my feet!! We have about 50sqm2 of lawn and it only used up one light on the batteries, so plenty more charge to do a lot more. It's a neat lawnmower and so easy to move around with its lightweight frame. It cut the lawn great! The only thing i was a bit disappointed with was where the handle is situated, i found it quite awkward to use it! But apart from that i am so glad i bought this mower. It only took two days to come, not the 14 days mentioned, so i was very happy with the service to!
