Does the job

I bought this item because the model I had chosen was out of stock, and I needed to clear some ground. It proved to be an excellent item. It was cheaper, but effective. The only hiccup was in assembly, the instructions were a bit ambiguous when using the brush cutter. However after a shaky start I was able to make short work of an avergrown area. Good value, easy to use.

Bush trimmer

We looked for one of these for quite some time. It is great value for money and it cuts through anything in fact my husband loves it he calls it the BEAST!!!

I think its value for money

Bought it only yesterday (Friday 7th) put it together, no problem, secured the cutter disk, started to gut. brilliant cuts through grass, small twigs, nettles weeds, even tough clumps of grass routes. Medium to light vibration holding the handle, but with a good pair of gardening gloves works OK. Haven’t tried the nylon trimmer line yet but will let you know when i do. Overall it works as intended, remember to regularly lubricate the drive shafts and gear box. Wear the correct footwear and watch your toes as the rotating disk cutter can throw out chunks of rocks or twigs which smart if hit a sensitive part of your body. Take care to listen to the motor, dont cut too much at once, keep the disk rotating at max RPM for good results.

Awful product.

Line spool does not close properly. B and Q don't stock spares. Cannot order replacement line spool. Very poor quality product. Totally unusable, and I haven't had it one day!

Spot on

Great tool does the job well. Vibration is to be what’s expected in a 1000w motor. Like a petrol one but no hassle.

Do not buy this

Bought it, Assembled it, started ti use it... The vibrations are unreal... But the worst part was the top end where the power buttons are, started to rotate so it was impossible to hold it straight... Very dangerous piece of equipment...

Not too bad

A little Bit shaky but did exactly what it says on the box

Rubbish

I was desperate to clear my overgrown garden so went for this. Might as well have bought a large pair of scissors. Assembled the cutter as per instructions. Turned it on. Bit noisy and quite alot of vibration but thought I could live with that. Went to start the job and the cutter stopped rotating. That was the end of it. Doesn't appear that the cutter will engage with the motor. Reassembled tried again. No luck. Back to the shop. Waste of money and time trying to assemble. Don't waste your time. Rated one star since it won't let you rate zero

Horrendous!!!

Avoid this product at all costs an old fashioned roller coaster at a theme park doesn't rattle every bone in your body as much as this does I could only use it for about a minute! It's going straight back to the shop absolutely awful I would not reccomend it at all If I had to score it out of 10 it would be -100!

PoorGardener - 4 / 5 - 04/06/2022

It did alright.

For the price, it's good value for money. Not sure why some are talking about vibrations being too much. Using the cutter was a breeze. When strimming it does start to feel a bit heavy, but no complaints from me.
