Quality Tape Measure

OC has the edge over B&Q - Tape Measure
I wondered if I was making the right choice between this and the B&Q one as we already had a B&Q one which was working really well for us with it's auto hold function. However I find with the B&Q one, you often will press the release button by accident which is so annoying! The other thing that bothers me is that it doesn't stand up very easily if you want to leave it on a flat surface (it'll just topple over). The OX one of the other hand, has the auto stop feature and isn't as easy to accidentally trigger the release button - WHICH IS PERFECT! It also doesn't stand up on it's own that well but better than the B&Q one. Overall, they are both good but in terms of function - I think Ox has the edge!

Amazing!

Failed after a year
Nice tapes to begin with, after 6 months both locking mechanisms were incredibly hard to use and after a year both locks failed. Tape does not stay or recall.

Build to last
These are proper professional-grade tools. The casing material is very sturdy, and the 8M length gives plenty of reach. I love how smooth the locking mechanism is, and the markings don't fade or scratch off easily. Definitely a 5-star product that feels like it will last a long time.

Sturdy
My go to measuring tape, perfect in a duo pack and lasts a decent amount of time compared to other brands. The auto lock feature is very useful

Excellent value for money
This is the second set I have bought as they are excellent value for money. The product it’s self is robust and good quality, the mechanism works really well. Compairing with other brands much better value.
