Read the manual for full safety and warning details before using. 1 This battery charger must only be used for keeping charged 12V lead acid batteries, either sealed (acid level maintenance free) or traditional, with a maximum capacity of 24Ah. 2 Do not use the charger for charging non-rechargeable batteries 3 Connect the battery charger to a power outlet which has the same voltage and frequency as that shown on the plate. The socket used must be efficient and safe. 4 The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped. 5 If extension cables are used, these must have plugs compatible with laws. Place the battery charger in a stable, dry and clean location, and prevent both the charger and the cable from coming into contact with water or dirt. 6 Carry out recharging at an ambient temperature between 0 and 38°C, comply with the recommendations shown in the battery instructions and the machine in which it is fitted. 7 Do not use the battery charger if damaged, or if there is any doubt about its efficiency after being knocked or a fall. 8 Do not dismantle the battery charger or alter its characteristics.
