Not good for B&Q product probably okay
Haven't used it as yet but it landed in my apartment block foyer in the bear box, no generic covering......ready for any opportunist to steal🙄

Great product
These smart plugs are very easy to use with the TCP app and also work with Alexa. They have a timer setting in the app so I’m using them for lights on the dark evenings.

Compact and compatible
I bought this product last month to replace a mechanical timer I was using for my garden lights. Chosen as “Which” best buy plus it’s small enough to fit in a waterproof garden electrical box without issue. Also paired faultlessly with my Tuya app which has a number of other devices in my house. Reliability to be determined as only had for a month, but intend to use another for my Christmas lights when the time comes later this year

Delighted with is these smart plugs
Second purchase of these plugs. Very worthwhile - can highly recommend. Great to be able to switch lights and other electrical items off and on from our smart phones

Poor instructions but good product
I bought these to increase my smart sockets. The instructions indicate they are managed by downloading the TCP app. But trying to get Alexa to manage them is impossible. I am conversant with Alexa and other smartlife products but Alexa just won't pick them up. I was on the verge of returning them. I tried deleting the TCP app and managed to add them to smartlife direct. No no TCP needed. The products work well using smartlife direct and Alexa immediately picks them up

Automate your home and save money
We have several of these plugs and B&Q offer some of the best prices for these smart plugs. At a time when any opportunity to save on electricity use is essential these app operated plugs (you can also switch manually) are great. Also useful if you are away from home and you wish to automate your lights and give that ‘still at home vibe’.

Work well and are well priced compared to others
I’ve had some of these for over 12 months now and I keep added to my collection whenever they are on special offer. I’ve found them to be very easy to connect and very reliable. The app is getting better. The only reason for the dropped star, is that some of the setting of automatic schedules is a bit complicated.

Easy to install and simple to use
We bought this mainly to control the Christmas lights but having used them now there are many more applications such as holiday, and the ability to control them remotely means we don't come home to darkness any more. Very easy to set up and use. We'd recommend them.

Brilliant
Some reviews say these don’t work or connect. Once you change your wifi settings to show 2.4ghz you’ll be fine. I use mine for this hard to reach places, behind cupboards etc and now control it from my phone. Made my life so easy. Works with Alexa too.
