disappointing humidity feature doesn't work
I bought the model with humidity control. It's impossible to set it so that it starts the fan when you take a shower and then stops once their is less humidity. I've spent over a week adjusting back and forth and no closer to getting the setting right. Save you money and just by the cheaper model with the timer. The fan itself is very good and really quiet. I would bring mine back but don't want to redo the work again

Silent is not better
Yes, this fan operates so quiet I thought it wasn't working. Well it was working but it was not doing a great job at extracting. 2 weeks after install was starting to see mould, and this was in April, so forget winter time. Yes, timer was set to max. Only reason I'm not giving 1 star is that there is a jumper which when you switch it increases the fan speed. Now it isn't silent anymore but heck it should do a better job at taking out the moisture. Most people wouldn't know what a jumper is and I was lucky to stumble upon it and change the setting, certainly wasn't any clarity that came with the box. Keeping my fingers crossed the new speed will be enough to avoid mould.
