Worse than useless
Rather than repelling the foxes in our garden, it simply intrigued them. Came down one morning to see them standing right next to it. They haven't been bothered by it in the slightest. Total waste of money.

Great product
I bought this product to ward off any potential problems. It was easy to set up and so far has worked as described. It seems to have a good battery life and is not phased by the weather.

Run costs extortionate
I bought 2, batteries (not supplied you have to buy separately two 9v for this product) run out in 4 days or less. So you are forever changing batteries every 4 days.

Useless/ Drains battery. Not fit for purpose
This unit makes sounds, even though set to detection only. It eats through 2x9V battery in 3 or 4 days! Also no way to adjust sensitivity. Just not fit for purpose. (Verve and Kingfisher versions)

Beware Foxes
Bought this to deter the foxes from digging up my lawn and it has worked. Can’t ask for anything more.

Terrible
The test button emmits the usual repellent frequency. The actual sound that occurs without holding said button via the timer settings, is literally just a mild buzz mixed with dial up Internet sound. Yet despite all the other negative reviews, the device is still for sale, fleecing other innocent customers. I would have to tape the test button down on a continuous loop annoying me and the pests, for this product to deter pests and myself from the garden at the same time. Take it off the shelves and fix this. In fact, product recall it because its so useless. Rebrand it as the garden buzzer.

Very poor. Not worth a star really.
I share the experience of the previous 11 reviewers. The item is ineffective, cats ignoring any ultrasound emitted and fouling close to the unit. The batteries draining within a few days. Not affordable to replace in such short time spans. Don't buy, I'll be seeking a refund from B&Q who should not be marketing the item in my view.

Batteries draining fast
I brought this product to stop cats & foxes pooing on my lawns. It may work well with correct settings but with batteries draining fast in few days and a couple of 9V batteries is seemed unsuitable for this. High capacity batteries or connect to the mains via the transformer would be the alternative. It’s cumbersome to replace batteries with four screws & hatch in place. Would be better to get rid of this and replace with larches. How can B&Q choose this to sell from its stores ? search me!
