Poor quality chip board covered to look good
I purchased 5 of these to make a shelving unit there were alternatives costing £4.68 Less. Although they look good there was 3mm difference in the width on 2 boards. They are covered all over but the edges are high gloss and the faces are semi gloss. At 18mm thickness and using good quality chip board screws pilot holes were a must to avoid splitting. Counter sinking was also difficult because of the poor quality chipboard ( Not Compacted ). I was compelled to carry on using these because I had marked them all out ready. I could have saved £22.50 by using the B & Q alternatives. Branded names does not always mean good quality. Lesson learnt !!!

Serves the purpose
I was re-fitting our my craft room and needed new shelves, I had taken some down which were being re-used but I needed more, it's strong enough to hold a fair weight but what I thought was off is the way it's described as being 'gloss', I took that to mean the whole shelf was gloss not just the edging, had I known that I wouldn't have the extra for it.

Rip off
I bought this and queried the price but was told it was correct. I didn't have time to argue, but the price is a total rip off.
