The Sync door/window contact alerts you via the Yale Alarm app as well when your door is opened or closed, providing peace of mind and enhanced protection. It will also trigger your alarm if there is a status change when your alarm is armed. The door/window contact is easy to pair with your Yale Sync Smart Home Alarm allowing you to customise your system up to 40 accessories to your individual needs. The contact is wireless and easy to install on any door or window surface as a small, wireless device. The contact has a 200m range and when paired with the Sync Smart Home alarm, can be integrated with lights and voice assistants including Amazon Alexa and Philips Hue, to enhance your security system.

Good size and easy install
Good size and easy to install but suffers from the limitations of a plastic case. If you’re not careful changing a battery can result in the case loosing integrity. Would be helpful if you could purchase replacement case assemblers.

Door sensors
I bought an alarm pack earlier this year and the door sensor is rubbish it keeps falling off due to the adhesive sticking used, the frame of my patio doors are sloped so just keep falling off, a stronger adhesive should be supplied with the alarm pack.

Good door contact device
Needed to purchase this separately to main alarm system as needed two. Easy to instal and maintain. Need to be careful with gap between sensor and connector on door to ensure device is correctly detected trigger.

Works well
Works well, we have had to improvise with the installation of this Sensor. The screw for replacing the battery is on top of the unit, we have ours high up on the door, which means you can't get to the screw, So we have reversed the position of the sensor, so the batter of the screw is easily accessible. Also had to fix an extension on the frame so that the sensor magnets line up

Poor Reliability
Bought three of these two years ago and two are not working correctly.

great product room for improvement
It works well with the whole Yale alarm system, but the spring is prone to dissemble resulting it a non-fuctional device
