Strong, but pricey
These brackets are strong, but like much of B&Q's hardware, very over-priced. Better to find a small shop locally who, very likely, will sell for a lower price.

Terrible screws
The braces themselves are fine. No sharp edges, seem strong enough for what I needed. The screws that are provided however were very weak and their heads came off when simply screwing them in. With the first one I thought maybe that was just a defective one. But I had four break in a row before I gave up and used other ones. They weren't going into strong wood either, just MDF, so fairly maliable. In the end I tried drilling pilot holes but even then, just the mild tension of the final bit was always too much. I wasn't over-tightening either, just ensuring the screw was correctly in the wood! Do not bother, unless you have your own screws.
