This 1000ml binding primer from Zinsser is ideal for problem painted surfaces that exhibit chalking, cracking, peeling & flaking, and forms a breathable membrane over faulty substrates around the interior & exterior of your home. It dries in 1 hour and comes in an easily storable tin can. As it's paintable, it's ideal for colour matching to your existing decor.

- Even after painted surfaces have been scraped and sanded, tiny cracks and gaps remain under the edges of old paint. Peel Stop® seeps into these spaces and ‘glues’ them down, forming a tight bond that helps stop future peeling. The special formula of Peel Stop® penetrates and binds chalky residues. Applied over cracked, crazed, or checked surfaces, Peel Stop® acts as a flexible bridging primer to seal face checking and help prevent the finish coat from cracking, providing a sound surface for primer and paint.

Even I could use it!

So effective and easy to use
The plaster on one wall was just powdery. Peel Stop was recommended to me by a family member. I used half a tin to cover 5m x 3.5m with two generous coats. It has a texture more like water/liquid than paint. It was so easy to use, I used a large brush. No fumes to speak of, dry within 2 hours and totally did the job. Also no problem when decorating on top. I highly recommend.
