Step 3

You'll receive a Legal & Safety leaflet with your Flogas bottle. It explains how to care for and store your bottle safely. For added security, you can register your new agreement with Flogas at home. Simply fill out the back of the form and send it in the provided envelope (free postage) – this allows Flogas to reach you directly if they ever need to recall a batch of cylinders.

Gas bottle and refill FAQs

We've put together some frequently asked questions on our gas bottles service.

Propane and butane are both used as fuel gases, but they have different properties that make them better suited for different applications.

Propane is ideal for year-round use due to its much lower boiling point. This makes it a popular choice for outdoor appliances like BBQs, even in cold weather. While both can be used with BBQs, propane is generally preferred.

Butane, on the other hand, is commonly used for camping stoves and indoor heaters because it's cheaper and has a boiling point, which is sufficient for most indoor uses.

No - you can swap between sizes without the need to purchase a new agreement.

To be able to purchase or replace a gas cylinder bottle you must be 18 years or older. Proof of age may be requested at store.

If you find you no longer require the use of your Flogas cylinder, you can return it to your local TradePoint store and receive a £10 refund from TradePoint. Alternatively you can contact Flogas directly on 0800 574574 for collection, although there is no refund available if collected.
