Plunge saws
Plunge saws contain a completely enclosed blade attached to a slider and guide rails that make it easy to feed timber into the saw. The blade can be raised and plunged into the centre of sheet of material, and for this reason a plunge saw is often the tool of choice used to cut recesses for appliances in worktops. They’re an excellent option for repeated accurate cuts in timber, included bevelled and mitre cuts.
